Tiger World's Frequently Asked Questions

Ask any keeper during your visit. They'll be glad to answer questions about the animals and facility.

Four out of five animals at Tiger World are recused and come from bad situations. Many of our recused animals haven't hunted for food or needed to protect themselves from a predator. We love and care for each animal, including feeding them regularly. The "wild" many of these creatures call home is dwindling rapidly, and they would have to compete for limited resources.

In addition, Captive animals seldom learn crucial survival skills and often are too habituated to human contact. Lacking a natural fear of humans, they are vulnerable to poachers and ill-equipped for life in the wild.
