HELP SAVE WILD Florida Panthers with our annual fundraising event on Saturday, September 13th, to help raise money. All the day's proceeds will be donated to our conservation partner, Friends of the Florida Panther Refuge, doing amazing work helping the big cats in the wild.
The day will have local food and wine vendors, interactive education stations, animal interactions, Feed-A-Carnivore, and specialized merchandise promoting the event.
About the Florida Panther-
Florida panthers, a subspecies of the American cougar, once roamed the southeastern U.S., with up to 1,360 in Florida alone. By the early 1900s, hunting, habitat loss, and other human activities had nearly wiped them out. Today, only 120–230 remain, mostly in southwest Florida—less than 5% of their original range—and vehicle collisions are a major cause of death.
Conservation efforts have boosted their numbers, but continued work is vital. Friends of the Florida Panther Refuge educates and advocates for this endangered native cat, known by many names—panther, cougar, puma, mountain lion, catamount, swamp cat, and more—making it one of the most endangered mammals in the U.S.

Saving Wild Florida Panthers
Tiger World is dedicated to the conservation and education of all threatened and endangered species. Our CougarFest event highlights the plight of the Florida Panther. All of the day's proceeds will be donated to the Friends of the Florida Panther refuge, helping save wild panthers in Florida. Tiger World is a non-profit charity, and all donations are tax-deductible.

We'll have special education stations where you can learn about the plight of these Javon Leopards and have an opportunity to see up close and personal Leopard anatomy.
